According to The Washington Post, 1,004 Americans were killed by police in 2019. Breakdown by race:
White 370
Black 235
Hispanic 158
Other 39
Unknown (probably mostly foreigners) 202
Even with the demograph percentage that's a significant number of white people. Why aren't whites as a community complaining? Disproportionate percentage? Okay, well Hispanics are a minority, why aren't they as a community complaining?
I don't question it at all because I understand when an officer asks me to do something, I comply regardless. I don't start making it hard by moving around where it looks like I'm not struggling but I clearly still am.
These guys put their lives on the line when we need them, the least we can do is not make their lives harder.
If a white dude doesn't do what the police ask, as a white dude, I fully support the police taking his dumb ass down. Same goes for any shade of skin, idgaf. Comply, it's not asking too much.
Having said that, I would have taken a bullet trying to get that cop off anybodys neck. I'm sure many of you feel the same.
All of a sudden we've had 4 race events in a week now that Covid is clearly no longer an option. This is still all about the election.
