Kamala Harris is a socialist? She's seen by many as a center-right leaning corporatist Democrat not far off what you get with a Joe Biden. Many progressive organizations do not endorse her and she has track record as a prosecutor that many on the left criticize.

The best that any of you who regularly post here could wish for is that someone like Harris is put forward as a VP. Nothing will change.

Centrist? Nobody in the Democrat party is a centrist at this point. Joe Biden, for example, was far left before Obama even came along. Bernie Sanders is a communist. Exactly who are these moderates you speak of?

The choice this election is between keeping our constitutional Republic or ushering in a new socialist government, as Fungo said above. Do you want that? Do you understand what will need to take place in order to go from a system based on individual rights to one that is collectivist?

She is the most right leaning democrat up for VP but that is only a facade I believe to enhance the ticket for the election
