Interesting Statistics
Interesting Statistics
A study shows nearly 12 percent of Republicans say they would not give an honest opinion to a pollster.
The same is true of 10.5 percent of Independents but only 5.4 percent of Democrats.
The study, conducted by CloudResearch out of New York, offers this bottom line regardless of whether you are Democrat, Republican, or an Independent: “12% of Trump supporters and 10.1% of Independents said they were likely to be untruthful on telephone surveys.”
Only 5.1 percent of Biden voters say the same.
That is a "yuge" number of voters that would put lie to the current polls. Seems, when you consider pollsters continually over count Democrats by 6% and under count Republicans by that same 6%, the polls are purposefully cooking the numbers PLUS a large number of people are not telling them a thing!
CloudResearch broke it down this way:
A lack of trust in phone polls as truly being anonymous.
An apprehension to associate their phone numbers with recorded responses.
Fear that their responses will become public in some manner.
Fear of reprisal and related detrimental impact to their financial, social, and family lives should their political opinions become publicly known.
A general dislike of phone polls.
Malicious intent to mislead polls due to general distrust of media and political pundits (though a sentiment expressed only by a few “shy voters”).

Fascinating. Nobody should be surprised on Nov. 3rd when the polls are proving wrong......again.

Re: Interesting Statistics
A contributing factor is how people who have more to lose than others tend to be incognito and assert their political influence [even if it's just 1 vote] inconspicuously and from the shadows. They don't want anything to do with risking safety in order to be counted. They don't have the time or energy because they are too busy at their jobs, trying to support the government dependent Losers who are THE BACKBONE of the Democrat Party...via taxes and special programs.
The bitter, self entitled Losers who have NOTHING to lose tend to be more vociferous.

Re: Interesting Statistics
I have randomly met a few dozen people here in fairly liberal MA and 100% have been conservative. The silent majority will be heard with jet engine decibel levels in 67 days.Moe Gibbs wrote: ↑Fri Aug 28, 2020 9:38 pmA contributing factor is how people who have more to lose than others tend to be incognito and assert their political influence [even if it's just 1 vote] inconspicuously and from the shadows. Some people never learn.
The "silent majority" is still

Re: Interesting Statistics
Is it any wonder that people are reticent to tell strangers that they are voting for Trump?
