Mandatory Political Correctness Training

Today my girlfriend is taking a taxpayer funded training course in how to properly think and believe about all social issues. She is a Seattle Public School teacher. Her training requires proof that she is fully on board with the beliefs that are being taught, so each teacher is required to stand in front of her "educators" and answer a battery of questions that pertain to the training that has just been administered. No doubt dossieres are kept by [[[The State]]] on each teacher's "political awareness".
This is so fucking Orwellian and this taxpayer funded teleconference is happening right here, right now in my house on computer equipment / connectivity service that is also being paid for by both you and me..

My girlfriend works at Jet Propulsion Laboratory and she had to go through something similar, although it was seminars as opposed to getting grilled. She was pretty pissed about it, but I told her that because that organization is "diverse", that's what they're going to do and to grit her teeth, get through it, and as long as she continues to enjoy her work, who gives a shit.

I'm glad I work for a small tax firm with three males. We don't have to be politically correct about anything.
