I think the truth is somewhere in the middle here. I have Type 1 diabetes. If I got pneumonia and died tomorrow, both would be listed on my death certificate. I am pretty sure that is standard practice. The problem is, no one is going around and tracking people with diabetes on their death certificate and trying to lock down the Nation because of it.

What concerns me is two things. 1, how many times is COVID listed and it isn't even close to the reason? Car wreck, etc.? 2. Hospitals can actually benefit from the death being from COVID...is that freaking true?

If you EVER tested positive for COVID19 but subsequently died of diabetes, or running with scissors, or swimming too soon after eating, Washington Gov. Jay Inslee instructed his Dept of Health to list you in the official Covid19 Death Count. Same holds true in Colorado where their Trump hating government officials are guilty of the same crime, but they corrupted close to 25% of the Death Claims for the same reason. Last I checked on that story, criminal charges against those disgusting traitors were being considered.
Any public official who is guilty about lying about the COVID19 Death Count for political purposes deserves to stand before God and be sent straight to Hell.

Yes, hospitals receive more subsidy through medicare for covid cases. The "Cares Act" offers a 20% or + add on. Another apple ripe for abuse.

Yeah, that is why I said the truth is somewhere in the middle. If someone tested positive for COVID and then died, it is on their death certificate. Some of those are valid, some are not. My guess is if I was murdered or died in a car accident, Diabetes wouldn't me marked on my death certificate, so there is some grey area that can be manipulated by if asshats like Inslee are instructing it to be so.

And, again, if there is something to be gained from having a hospital mark it as a COVID death, that is flat out wrong.
