That was trust from the Twin's manager. Bringing in crappy, former Mariner Mike Morin, a RIGHT-handed pitcher to make sure Seager would ground out to the right side. Brilliant.

I was just gonna ask the odds of our holding a 1-0 lead for 3 innings.

I recall Yes. Good memory! Back then there was no padding, guys got busted up colliding with it.
I loved the old Nats, our Murderer’s Row of Sievers, 1949 ROY, Lemon, Allison, 1959 ROY, and Harmon Killebrew!
Great curveballer Camilo Pascual.

......at least until Mariner-killer Marwin Gonzales strikes again.
Then there's Kyle wanting to be a part of the season long errorfest.

I'd let Milone pitch to the first 2 batter of the 8th, then take him out when Cruz bats.

Showing my age, but I saw them perform Tommy at the Metropolitan Opera House in NYC, and the Fillmore East. I was all about them back in the day.rockycola wrote: ↑Thu Jun 13, 2019 2:22 amBy the Who, from the Tommy album. You'll feel me coming

Long will get a steak dinner on Seager’s tab tonight, no doubt...

Shed is starting to grow on me

I told you Shed is ready for the bigs
I still think he would do well to have more seasoning in Tacoma, but I think he's an MLB player. His throw and that HR make for a pretty good game for him in his first start in LF.

Verlander sets his personal K record tonight against the Brewers.
I would have bet money that if he set a new record it would be against the Mariners. Go figure.
