Yeah, I don't think this off season is the time to go crazy and I certainly wouldn't trade any prospects but there are a few million people voting on Tuesday that were born AFTER the last time we made the playoffs. (just try to wrap your head around that)

We finished 20-15. Zero reason why we can't at least give the team a decent chance to make the damn playoffs, for once.

Please don't spend on this year's class because it's weak. Next year's class is loaded, plus we get to see how far the team and its youngsters have progress by the end of next season.

Its weak as a whole but you can probably get bargains due to Covid. Its not like any team signs the whole class.

Next year's free agent SS crop, 2021. You're gonna have to deal for one knowing whats currently out there next year. It'll give us another year of Crawford as well to see if he's the real deal.

PLAYER (2017-19 WAR)
Lindor: 18.1
Story: 14. 6
Báez: 13.
Correa: 10.6
Seager: 10.1

Yeah, I am not advocating for an SS this off season. I would prefer a OF/DH that can solidify our weak lineup and make the news on Feb 15th 2021 that Haniger fell down the strairs and broke the rest of the bones in his body and other nut more bearable.

I agree, we don't have an immediate vacancy at SS the way we do in LF/DH, especially if Haniger doesn't make it back or just goes back to being a nobody.

A guy like Marcell Ozuna gets pretty interesting depending on the number of years it takes to get him. We have space at DH once a new LF'er emerges from the minors.

Why not an infield/dh that would solidify our "weak lineup". Even with Haniger's swollen nutsack keeping him docile, we have Trammell, Moore, Hagerty, Lopes, Marmalejos... Kellenic, Rodriguez, and DeLoach in the pipeline for the outfield. I like DiDi Gregorious.... course I've said that over and over...
