Can you keep the AL RBI Leader from the AllStar Game?

It's a shame that Domingo was left vulnerable so long in left field because it really stained what has been an excellent first half offensively.

It's really pretty amazing to slash: .283/.349/.508/.857 w/ 17 HR's and 60 RBI's and not be anywhere near the short list for AllStar voting. I don't even think he made top 20 in voting for outfielders.

His defense in left field really was THAT bad. He's only been worth 1 WAR despite the offensive production.

Eddie Rosario has slashed: .269/.300/.518/.818 w/ 20 HR's and 57 RBI's and is in the final vote for AL Outfielders... he's only put 1.8 WAR thus far.

There is something to be said about playing for a winning team like the Twins, but one could totally argue that had Domingo been in Right all season, he'd be well on his way to the AllStar game (Servais really is that inept).

It will be interesting to see who the M's end up sending. It's either going to be Vogey or Domingo... but based on stats, Domingo has earned in IMO.

I don't think Haniger has a problem with left field like Domingo does so I hope they just play to player strengths vs traditional RF>LF alignment. Vbach has outperformed Domingo and as DT delivered to us he has performed at 1B above average on defense. Last time I checked he was 2nd in DH OPS and may have been #1 if they let you use him as a 1B.

But yes, I like Domingo Santana I think he could be a fine outfielder for the team.

And yes, you can keep him from the All-Star team he made all those errors.
