Brock Huard's poll

Post by Hanjag » Tue Jun 25, 2019 9:01 pm

Here are the results:
If you had to buy stock in a current Mariner who will be a difference maker when this team eventually competes, who would you buy? (4102 votes)

15%Domingo Santana
50%JP Crawford
10%Kikuchi
25%Vogey

I would probably add Haniger, Narvaez, Mallex, and Marco G.

You should be able to choose more than one. If I were to rank them it would be:

JP
VB
KK
Santana

I would love to see them extend Santana for a couple years of his free agency. Could probably get a reasonable price doing it at this point.

I can't see them doing that with Vogey at DH and the system chalk full of OFers. I would trade him for pitching.

I would trade them then. Santana is a successful major league player on the rise, something these prospects may never be.

Santana has a higher ceiling than Haniger imo.

As poor as our OF has been for years I'm hesitant to swap out guys that have actually produced like Haniger and Santana for more prospects that may Ackley their way outta here.

Santana fixes RF in my opinion, and I think a 4 year $20M contract could make sense for both sides.

Unless Haniger is going to play CF, I would trade him before I'd trade Santana (unless Santana won't sign an extension).

Yeah, it's like asking who played in the Beatles?

a. Paul
b. John
c. George
d. Ringo

Weird "poll"

he is asking between those specific players, like his says, stock picking, its kind of interesting...in terms of their sunk cost it be between Crawford and Kikuchi. Its pretty close there really in my mind, currently Kikuchi's stock is down and Crawford's is up, probably go with Crawford

Then he needs to add GEST to the word big in the question.
