I would attach Roenis Elias to either Seager or Gordon if it got either of them outta here.

No way we can count on him being good two years from now. Really not even next year. Or this year.

I think you would need to throw in peak Felix for any GM to nibble on Gordon or Seager.

Seags at .199.
.636 OPS for Seager.

Mallex Smith has a .621 OPS in his last 7 games, back to his old ways.

They need to put Haniger in CF and add a LF before they plan to win.
Astros have no quit, A’s Never Die, Rangers are looking good, 2021 my ass.

Why even bother remaining a fan?

I have no doubt with their payroll flexibility and Dipotos dealing ways that they can fill 4 more holes in the roster by then, which is all it would take to be contenders imo.

Replace Gordon, 1B, SP1 and SP2 with good players instead of riffraff and we're in the mix. If they replace Mallex with an MLB level player we'll be even better.

The Astros, A's and Rangers were all terrible before they were good. Pretty bad examples.

The Astros have some potential purgatory headed their way to be honest. If they are smart and don't try and appease the idiot part of the fan base and they try to be flexible and do things for the good of the team they might get away with it. I am not convinced though!!!

I am looking forward to seeing Fraley in LF in Sept.

First you have to convince the GM will be his peak self when he returns from the IL. :)
