They should pick up that DFAed pitcher from the O's.

Will he help in our pursuit of a high draft pick? I am starting to think JD is keep all of decent relievers down because he wants to tank and of course service time.

That's exactly what I think is happening!

Like it or not the bullpen is the easiest way to play for a draft pick without completely giving up at the MLB level. And we can look around the league and see teams are actively trying for better picks. Dipoto is no different. Losing is en vogue when you're not winning anyways.

We have almost an entire bullpen in the minors that would be significantly better than the current BP. And they aren't kids, these guys are 24-26 yo.

We should pick up some guy named Edwin (Lemon, not Sugar) Diaz for peanuts. He of the 5.67 ERA. He could help with our bullpen goals.

That trades going to cost the Mets GM his job. He threw a chair in a meeting yesterday.

I agree, and actually was watching the game from his lounger and phoned in a pitching change. He's a bit too hands on but delighted they got Cano off our hands.

What the f*** were the Mets thinking hiring an agent who had no gm experience or front office experience. And then the guy goes out and trades for it highly overpaid former client. Unbelievable.
