So, risk Trevor Lawrence type talent to play someone else to see what they have? Not gonna lie, I'm glad you aren't the one making that call.

There is ZERO reason for a kid that talented to come in and not have the ability to start. And the other guys left because they couldn't beat out Morris!
Morris is the best Morris to happen to Sports since Morris Buttermaker.

I don't like the idea of letting a freshman compete to be the starter. That's why so many QBs have transfered out lately. Don James didn't do that crap did he?
different era, but even Don James realized his best success after making adjustment to the modernization of the evolving game. Recall the bowl game where the O got stymied by Cornelius Bennett? that's when he made the course correction to get more speed across the board, eventually leading to the "All I saw was purple" era culminated by the Natty in 91-92.
This is a pic of me and my boys chilling at Venice Beach just a few hours before that 1992 Rose Bowl. I'm on the left.

so those guys took the spots of the 3-4 cheerleaders you just missed getting to transport? :D

LOL I drove solo from Ohio to Pasadena. Those guys had the quick and easy drive down from Seattle.
