In the early 1980s, the bridge was closed for repair and upon reopening, it was renamed the Hope Memorial Bridge in honor of Bob Hope’s father who was a Cleveland stonemason. Recently, the Guardians have come to symbolize the spirit of Cleveland – resilient, hard working and loyal.

Loved what Bod did for the troops but he was probably my least fav comedian of all time.

Matt Hasslebeck was on Wyman and Boob on Friday and he reminded them and me that he had the same injury
as Sam back in the day. His butt got hurt against TB in a shitty game. The next game was against the Lambs for the
shameful NFC west losing record entry into the playoffs. Pete went with Charlie Whitehurst for that game, even
though Matt wanted to play. Hass confirmed he was pissed, which is what I remember watching him on the sidelines.
Hass said Pete told him it's because he likely couldn't run well with his butt, yada, yada BS etc. To this day, I
believe Pete Started Whitehurst to give the Seahawks the "best chance to lose". For better draft position for the
next draft on his budding team.
As it turned out, Whitehurst won the game and the Seahawks went to the playoffs at home against NO.
Beastquake. A game that arguably marked the turning point for the Pete Carroll era Seahawks. Hass was the
QB for Beastquake. He had missed one game with the butt. Same as Sam here.
