The bigger problem is obsessing over fantasy stats, like sacks. They are great, no question, but the batted passes, passes defensed, pressure, getting QB's out of their comfort zone, properly playing fundamental football, staying on your assignment, are all just as, if not more, important. Too much time is spent obsessing on stats while ignoring the context - simply because it's easier - and ultimately - just lazy journalism. The batted balls yesterday were huge huge huge, but since these don't make any fantasy roster points, no one cares. At last i don't think they do, I don't play that crap.
Scheming and execution. Obsessing on stats? Lame. It's what lazy journalism is all about anymore; ignore context, cut and paste a stat line instead. God forbid someone has to dig a little deeper than that.
I don't even think you could call Danny a journalist when he wrote for the Times. He is now just a dumb sports radio buffoon.
Danny ONeill on the radio just now: "I was listening to the game on the radio because I don't currently have a TV"      The guy gets paid money to talk about sports and he does not have a Television set, something which was in 93% of households in.........1965.

Who are they releasing?
I heard Amadi was injured. I swear injuries to our rookie class is more rampant than Malaria at the Panama Canal during construction.

How about, more rampant than filthy and dangerously discarded free drug needles in the greater Seattle area, but much less rampant than plastic straws. :P

He got blindsided by Old MacDougald in the 2nd quarter, i believe. Not his fault.

I don't know why they keep saying TT mistimed his jump. His mistake was not going back further before jumping. There was no way he had a chance from where he was standing. He misjudged how far it would carry which is probably even worse. If you start and stop this vid you will see what I mean.

Our next two opponents, assumed offensive juggernauts, have scored a grand total of 6 points in 6 quarters so far.

I'll take it one step further.. If My Guy Thompson gets proper depth. Maybe that ball isn't thrown , Ross is afraid to catch it, Ross is slowed and Flowers makes a play on ball or Dalton is hesitant and gets sacked.

Yeah, good point, his biggest sin was letting Ross get behind him with so little time left.
