That was the worst AB I've seen by an ump. He had 5 calls, 4 of them were wrong. Only one he got right was in the dirt.
He is infamous for being horrible. How do these guys keep their jobs at this level being that bad??

This is probably the worst game we've seen this year from a home plate ump and what's worse it's been completely one-sided. He's literally influencing the outcome if Castillo doesn't pitch out of this.
He seemed good in the first. Wasn't giving Cole the pitches just out of the zone, or it would have been a very different inning.

Frazier for last 30 games, not including today (back to late June)
BA .308
OBP .348
SLG .356

This isn't cherry-picked, starting with games where he got a bunch of hits. In fact, it starts back when he was in a dry-spell. Just wanted to see 30 games stats.

Last 15, FYI:
346, 410, 364

95 pitches. Place your bets on another inning?

So for the second time this game the Spankees try to cheat, and this time they get nada. The baseball gods are paying attention today, fellas.

Now let's get a run or two or three off of their bullpen. It sucks that this lineup is incapable of scoring ten runs even if they score nine in one inning.

I say yes because he'll face no.5,6,7 of their lineup.
Let him pitch one guy and see what he's got left.

So about league average in the past 30 and a 364 SLG with a .346 BA. I will wish him well in FA.
