Sheriff has already been snapped up by Carolina along with Rhattigan.

Bummed. I was hoping both of them would land on the practice squad today. But really happy about Holani and think he will be a hometown favorite someday. Probably sooner rather than later, given our snakebit luck at keeping RBs upright.
Also, glad Artie Burns is on the practice squad while he heals. Whenever he steps in, he seems to always perform.
Dee lands with the Dolphins.

The Dolphins love them some speed.

Sometimes, Speed Kills. At least that what my black light poster said in 1971.

I'm happy for both these guys. Rhattigan will find a role somewhere, but The Sheriff was delivering beer in Mississippi a month ago and is now on the Panthers' 53. That's a good story so far.

Idiot teams that put stock in preseason punt returns. Good riddance. Could have picked Creed Humphries instead but Pete fell in love with a gadget again.
JS seemed to like him too
"He's just extremely explosive," general manager John Schneider said. "… 4.3-whatever (40-yard dash), ran a 10.5 (second) 100 meters in high school, 21.5 200 meters. Just a really explosive guy who can throttle his speed, tough. We're getting a guy that could play a number of different positions. He was a kickoff returner, could be a gunner. There's a really cool shot of him as a gunner against Central Michigan where he just throttled somebody. We've got a guy who's competitive, hungry, intense, he's got some dog to him."
He must really love him to cut him. Just wanted what was best for him. If you love something set it free....lol
Believe he loved him when he drafted him, a dolphin now

The guys that missed the cut that I kinda liked:

DJ James SEC CB
Jamie Sheriff LB 3 sacks in the preseason
WR White 6'3" 215# he had the 80 yarder that was called back.
WR/returner Dee E. He has speed but did not show much in games/injuries. (potential) Did he have a domestic case?
RB Holani (P.S.) retained
S Marquis Blair, and Ty Okuda

A couple of locals
Eosap Winston JR WR WSU
and
Jack Westover TE UW

Well, one game into the season and Walker is already injured. Guess Holani's stint on the PS is gonna be a short one.

All the abilities, and Walker just doesn't always have availability.
