Bizarre that an elite HOF reliever would spawn a Major league INFer. Baseball genetics are a trip.
I mean... ya genetics help... but he probably spawned with a baseball in his hand and had the world's best training available from when he could walk.
But wouldn't he be focused on teaching him to pitch. I am sure I am wrong. Yep I am. Bobby Whit and Jr.
I think the genetics bring talent but then there's more of a natural place that people fall into. Kinda like Shadeur Sanders being a QB and not a corner.

For instance, my brother played baseball D1... was an outfielder... 6'3, 200... power up the ying yang and fast as hell. Couldn't pitch a lick.

Me on the other hand... not as physically gifted... but pitching just made sense to me and I had a natural ability to throw 90 mph as a teenager.

Both spawned from the same dad

Don't blame players for not wanting to sign in this Lib state. So done with this organization.
Yeah, like how they hate signing with California or New York based teams, oh wait

Lol ya... all the exposure to so much liberalism from their mansions on Mercer Island and Medina w. no income tax while half the free agents have signed with a team in the bastion of conservatism Los Angeles where their paychecks are taxed up the asshole. :?: :?: :?:

Genuinely curious. I live in in Seattle.

What sort of a life are you leading where liberalism is having such a negative impact on your life here? Jesus Christ... are you just making daily trips to Cap Hill and seeing naked men doing cart wheels down the streets?

So I looked around for something about baseball and genetics and found this. I simply could not handle something like that...
Red Sox great Dwight Evans loses a second son to genetic disorder
Tim Evans died Saturday of neurofibromatosis, 10 months after the illness claimed his brother Justin

Record breaking investment. lol I guess that is what you get when you read a baseball article on a motorcycle website.

As I understand it, all of the teams are limited in what they can offer, though I suppose a team could go over the international signing cap and take the penalty for doing so. But I don't see the Mariners doing that.

Looks like Rojas has a market, though he hasn't signed yet. But I could see him getting more than the $4.5 or whatever it was that he was projected to get in arbitration.
