Bowers' record-setting rookie season wasn't just great in the context of his lack of experience. It was one of the best seasons for a tight end we've ever seen, first year or not. He came up four catches short of the single-season record for receptions by a tight end and logged the 16th-most yards at 1,194. Add in 13 rushing yards and he is just one of 15 tight ends in league history to top 1,200 yards from scrimmage.

I would seriously think about it. I think he would fit our new OC.
I just don’t believe we will even have to debate it. He will be gone by 18. The TE position has totally changed and it is a focal position now.
I actually wanted to trade with the raiders for TE Mayer. With Bowers I thought he’d be expendable. Now I don’t think they will with Pete there.

That might be one of my favorites so far. If we could figure out the cap? That draft would make us better next year. I just don't know how they figure out the cap. Imagine going into next year with Howell at QB and JSN and Bobo as our WRs?Sibelius Hindemith wrote: ↑Fri Jan 31, 2025 4:55 pmHow bout this mfer...

Milroe to me is a good gamble as a second-tier QB prospect. Big arm, great legs and great competitor, all the physical traits - not unlike Geno in that regard, but a better runner. Didnt watch him too much but know he threw his share of picks - likely needs work reading coverage and mental processing.Michael K. wrote: ↑Wed Jan 29, 2025 8:34 pmI'm coming around to the idea of Milroe. Said fuck it and just kept trading back. It wasn't the greatest strategy, as guys I wanted kept going a pick or two before me, then I didn't want anyone, so I'd trade back again! LOL.
More beef on the Interior D Line.
I like this guy, but means that we have to keep the two Tackles we have. Not sure if Abe is ever going to play a full season. So might not work out. That said? I loaded up on the interior O Line.Donovan Jackson
OG
Ohio State
Height: 6 - 4 |
Weight: 320 lbs |
RAS: N/A
Donovan Jackson is poised to be a top interior offensive lineman in the 2025 NFL Draft, showcasing an impressive resume at Ohio State. At 6’4” and 320 pounds, he combines sharp intelligence, explosive mobility, and powerful strength. With solid athleticism and punchy hands, Jackson has all the tools to become a long-term force on an NFL offensive line.
Dylan Fairchild
OG
Georgia
Height: 6 - 5 |
Weight: 315 lbs |
RAS: N/A
Dylan Fairchild is a powerful and technically sound offensive lineman with the versatility to excel at guard or tackle. Known for his physicality and aggression, he can, at times, tend to the over-aggressive side, which can hurt his technique and positioning. Fairchild’s quick feet and balanced stance make him effective in pass protection, where he handles speed rushers and anchors well against power. A lack of experience is a concern, with limited collegiate starts, and he could need more development than other interior offensive linemen in this draft. However, those starts are in the SEC, which sets Fairchild in a good position
I guess I'm sold on the GA O Line.Jared Wilson
OC
Georgia
Height: 6 - 3 |
Weight: 310 lbs |
RAS: N/A
Jared Wilson projects as a high-upside starter in the NFL. While he is still raw as just a one-year starting center, the three-star Bulldogs recruit has the athleticism and natural leverage understanding to be one of the first pure center prospects off the board in the 2025 NFL Draft. The 6’3”, 310-pound starter starting center has a strong base and impressive hand usage while also possessing the fluid mobility to work in space.
More beef on the Interior D Line.
Kenneth Grant
DT
Michigan
Height: 6 - 3 |
Weight: 342 lbs |
RAS: N/A
Kenneth Grant is a powerful and agile defensive tackle for Michigan, standing 6’3” and 340 pounds. Renowned for excelling in crucial moments, he effectively pressures the quarterback and anchors the run defense with his natural athleticism and strength. With significant potential and ongoing development, Grant is a top first-round prospect in the 2025 NFL Draft.
How do I not draft a DT named Tonka, especially one rated 23 higher than were I got him? LOLJamaree Caldwell
DT
Oregon
Height: 6 - 2 |
Weight: 342 lbs |
RAS: N/A
Jamaree Caldwell pairs an eye-catching first step with beautiful natural leverage and a knack for disengaging from blocks and making plays on runners. He plays with an almost immeasurably wide base to thwart the efforts of double teams, and his aggressive nature to cut off reach blockers makes him effective against wide-zone and downhill runs.

Actually, Jackson played tackle superbly the last half of the season. So without thinking you were doing it, you got a very nice G/T combo with your first pick!Michael K. wrote: ↑Tue Feb 04, 2025 10:53 pmSaid fuck it and just kept trading back. My concern about Milroe is the same as all Ohio State QB's - they are on teams so loaded with talent all they have to do is NOT lose the game. Ohio State QB's are always getting drafted and rarely translate to the NFL game. Yes, I am aware CJ Stroud is playing well - but he is the exception to the rule. That said, it would not eliminate Milroe as a pick - it just dials down expectations. Next Gen QB's all have to be runners as well - it's just where the game is going - but can they actually run a passing offense as well? He could be a fun addition. Seattle HAS to get a QB in this draft - they should be adding to that room every year or looking to improve it.

I can see that...but I always kind of thought the issue with Ohio State QBs was the offense they ran. Even under Urban Meyer, I mean, what QB did Urban Meyer or Steve Spurrier turn into NFL guys? Fantastic college offenses, just not built to make QBs pros. I like Milroe's athleticism, but I think I would want to die watching him throw the football. I knew going in DeBoer was in trouble with his offense and that QB.
