Let's hope the mood in here doesn't change once Michigan announces their new head coach.
We heard since the day he was hired that he was a LOCK to got to Florida and that didn't happen so I doubt it happens. I didn't like his answer to the question though, will you be at UW next season and he said, Yes I expect to be..
Believe it or not, you can gamble on anything. They said on Brock and Salk this morning that Vegas has the best odds on Fisch taking over at Michigan. They didn't say what those odds were though, so maybe there are four names, and he has just over 25%, or what ever. But still. Brock basically said it boils down to three things. He brings in talent, did so at AZ, and did so here. He has done a great job of working with QBs. And he has a history of being a climber. Brock said Michigan is a top three to five job in college. That seems high to me, but it would sure suck to lose him to another Big Ten school.
Are there any B10 coaches that aren't climbers. I mean how do you go from being a HS kid playing football to being a B10 coach with out climbing. I don't think any of them went from truck drivers straight to HCs at a B10 program with no other coaching jobs in between.

The bottom line is that Fisch is gone if he gets the offer. Is this the kind of person you want to keep around? If he's still here in the final year of his contract I hope UW keeps him guessing about their intentions to try to keep him here and starts interviewing his possible replacements in secret, then let's him walk at the end of the season.
WTF? He has left a grand total of one HC job in his 25 year career. Left a sub par AZ program that had no idea what conference it was going to end up in for a B10 top 20 program. He would have been an idiot if he did. But now he is a lock to make a pretty lateral move one the cusp of building a CFP program?

I predicted he wouldn't go to Florida and am happy to go out on a limb and say his next move will only be to the NFL.

It was no secret when we hired Fisch that he was an unabashed climber who had no intention of changing his ways in that regard - he never even denied the fact when openly questioned about it by the local press. just part of the deal, worth it as the best we could get on the spot in that impossible time frame. Even if he does leave this offseason, the results he got on the field and particularly with this new recruiting class (assuming at least half are retained) validate his choice as a good hire. Nevertheless I'm happy to see this article:

Right, if he stays here it won't be because he turned down another job offer. Fisch doesn't want to be here, to him UW was a stepping stone gig from the beginning. I suspect he doesn't like working for/with a bunch of far left goons which is why he would make a lateral move, but I could be wrong.

Tell any random college football fan outside of this state that Washington to Michigan is a Lateral move and they'd probably laugh at you. They have literally won more games than any other college football team in history and are second all time in winning percentage. To me there are only handful of top tier programs and Michigan is one of them. The fact that people think Kalen Deboer might leave Alabama for Michigan is evidence enough of that. Its not a big jump but I definitely think UW is a step down.

Tier 1
Alabama
Georgia
Ohio State
Michigan
USC
LSU
Texas
Oklahoma
Notre Dame

Tier 2
Penn State
Florida
Florida State
Miami
Oregon
Washington
Tennessee
Clemson
Auburn

I said a "pretty" lateral move which acknowledges they are a tier above but they are both top 5-6 Big 10 programs imo. Of course he might go but I don't see it as a lock.

Why didn't he go back to his beloved Alma Mater Florida??? Did he know Moore was banging that little hotty and would get fired so he held out for a bigger pond?

Florida didn't make him an offer but Michigan will?

Speaking of why the Michigan job is open, did anyone else see the tid bit about how Moore was messaging an Only Fans model DURING the National Championship game?

What I have found mentioned that he texted her at halftime of the Ohio State game, but I don't see anything about the NC game. Still, Holy Shit, the guy has issues.

https://www.yahoo.com/entertainment/cel ... 19192.html

He offered this Mia Sority tickets for her and two friends for a foursome! Sounds like she told him she is rich and can afford to pay for the tickets! LOL

I don't think Florida was interested in him. I don't think they even talked, did they?

Lowly Florida had no interest but mighty Michigan will? We shall see.
