I agree with 57, Walker was never going to come back. He wasn't happy with the shared duties and the seahawks are continuing it. We can guess at what JS might do but really it's going to be waiting to see. He's got a plan, its not like, oh shit, we couldn't sign Walker, who's left out there? They've known this was coming for who knows how long, Everyone questioned JSs plan last season and here we go again. It's really kind of funny to me.

Somebody suggested drafting the other ND RB Price. But he is at best a 3rd rounder and might fall to day three. We all know rookies almost never hit the ground running day 1. If JS pulls this off and finds a viable RB one I give him another Exec of the year award on the spot.

I don't think so. Price will not fall to the 4th. Heck, I don't think he will be available in the 3rd. Walker and Char were 2nd. Heck high seconds. Price is faster and more versatile than Charb, and faster by a lot. His kick returning and lack of hits he had in college because of Love being the 1st team back. I think he is a perfect 2nd rounder if he gets that far down in the 2nd to us. Price is fast, and is a good blocker too. So, far superior than Walker there. Too good to pass in the low 2nd if he is there.

Even If Charb was ready seems it wasn't long ago that he was considered a slug and nobody could believe he was splitting carries with Walker but now he is our best case scenario for RB1 for a team focused on being a run first team???

I guess we can run Shaheed on fly sweeps a dozen times a game.

If they draft Jonah Coleman would you be OK with what we have and Jonah....and sprinkle in Charbo when he returns? I was one of those guys you mentioned, pissed that Charbo took HALF the carries. The coaches obviously felt the same, and it really does seem they were just sort of limiting him early. Even when Charbo was healthy at the end, he was much less involved. That said? There are guys still out there that could pair with what we have, and while they might not be K9? We wouldn't be terrible.

Joe Mixon - Be interested to see what the team Dr's felt about him. The guy was a beast year before last.
Najee Harris - Still has some in the tank
Jerome Ford - Showed flashes in Cleveland when Chubb went down
Raheem Mostert - Lot of miles on the tires, but still has some juice
Kareem Hunt - No thanks
Miles Sanders - Always had a lot of hype, never really lived up
Rachaad White - Somehow stile reps from Bucky in Tampa, must be something to that
Brain Robinson - Looked good in limited action last year
Michael Carter - Had some real good games in NY
Khalil Herbert - Very good change of pace guy
Hassan Haskins - Very Charbonnet like
Keaton Mitchell - Another I'd be very interested in knowing his health. He was incredibly explosive before the injury
Sean Tucker - Another guy the Bucs seemed to like. Kind of an inside pounder

Any of these guys at the right price? Nothing flashy, but I'd be good with Coleman in the draft and maybe one of these guys on a prove it deal.

Again, in today's game? I think over paying for a RB is a problem. Everyone in here believes the Rams are going to be screwed by their salaries, but then no one looks at the fact that the Ravens, Eagles, Packers and Texans all went big on FA RBs recently. The Ravens missed the playoffs completely just a season later, and the Texans are the only one of the four to win a playoff game. And that was because the Steelers were completely dominated by their defense.

Barkley's one explosive year doesn't change that. The Eagles also had a running threat at QB. The very next season they tried to keep all the mouths fed, Barkley and Hurts both seemed to lose a step....and bam. Obviously the Eagles aren't going to give back their Ring, but there is nothing saying they couldn't have won a Super Bowl with Hurts and a back not making more money than any other NFL RB.

Thanks for the assessment. I know nothing of any of those guys not being a fantasy guy.

Most of those guys with the exception of Mixon, White and maybe Carter? Haven't been Fantasy relevant in some time if at all. I do play in deeper leagues where we keep an eye on depth for a reason I guess.

That said? Keaton Mitchell made us look stupid just a year or two ago. And Harris and Haskin are definitely still guys that could carry more of the load. I wish the draft was deeper, but I think they just weighed the options and realized making K-9 the fourth highest paid back would have been a mistake. And, as someone mentioned before? Maybe he told them he wasn't willing to share the load and the Hawks believed that he wasn't durable enough to be a Bell Cow?

btw what do you think happened to to Jonah the last 8 games. 3.7 yards per carry in college is like 1.1 in the NFL. College RBs can average 6+ and not even get drafted.
