Kade vs. Sloan

Here's my 1 cent's worth of analysis...Yes, Kade is older but he pitched at LSU and was the #1 starter for the team that won the College WS and he was named Most Outstanding Player for the WS tournament. That is pressure and balls in that kind of environment; that makes AA cake for him. Sloan has a TON less experience than Kade does, with being drafted out of HS and not playing college. Kade is ready to go and be in the M's rotation; Sloan needs. another year of seasoning. It is like who would you rather have Glavine or Smoltz....personally I'll take both.

This reminds me of Jaxson Smith-Njigba. Not only was he very highly regarded, but in the biggest game of his life, the Rose Bowl as a junior (he missed almost his entire senior year with injury), he caught 15 passes for 347 yards and three TDs. Just totally insane numbers in that kind of a game. And we've seen how it's turned out.

But everyone LOVED Milroe's potential....And we saw how that turned out.....

And his passing stats in college were pretty blah. If he was such a good quarterback then why didn't he throw good? Right?
