It's unfortunate that wars are started by some of the worst people around, only to have troops go in to sacrifice their lives for what is essentially nothing more than a dick waving contest (I'm referencing George Carlin here). Many instances where troops didn't actually know what they were fighting for. I think the Vietnam war would be a good example of that.

I remember this like it was yesterday (I'm sure most of you do as well)... every day George W. would appear on the television, telling us that they were pulling out all the stops to find bin Laden and end the war on terror. This went on every day, for a month or so. Then, overnight, he changed his tune and was telling us that they were going after Hussein. What happened? I mean, you've been telling us for a month straight that bin Laden was the bad guy.

But they got Hussein, made a mess of Iraq and, as aurora mentioned, Cheney made a boatload of money.

Those c*cksuckers should have went to prison for war crimes. Instead, they literally manipulated an entire country and made out like bandits. Talk about oversized egos.
