CBS says Darnold is 19th.

Who was the minority that left. Maybe he would have told JS not to be a Dumb fuck and tag Walker.

Pretty sure this has been put to bed. They brought in Kubiak to fix the run game....added Zabel, and things got better. So? When Kubiak left they brought in a guy that spent two years getting offensive coaches coffee, and one year coaching TEs and figured it was fixed. The fucking ego it takes to do that is unbelievable to me. Tell us that it was coaching before, but now just basically thumb your nose at coaching? I don't get that move.Donn Beach wrote: ↑Mon Oct 19, 2026 7:35 amThe Oline was good enough to win them a SB last season, what happened? It was crap under Grubb, got good under Kubiak and now is crap again. I think you need to get past replacing talent and look at the coaching. They lost Kubiak as well as Rick Dennison and Andrew Janocko this season. Kubiak is the Raiders HC, Dennison is the Oline coach and Jonocko their OC, this is the area the seahawks are hurting now. I know coaches are considered a dime a dozen here, I don't really agree
Everyone complains about K9, but I am telling you....they miss the Offensive Coaching staff more then K9.
Re: CBS says Darnold is 19th.
I keep seeing random posts (and I'm sure I shouldn't be taking them seriously) about how the Seahawks should be doing everything they can to acquire Jonathan Taylor from the Colts. What's everyone's opinion on that, or is it even a realistic possibility?
I really have no confidence in our run game with only Charbs coming back from injury (he was already a plodder with not a lot ability to be elusive) and a rookie that can't hold onto the ball. Emanuel Wilson isn't much different than Charbs, a plodder that will fall forward for 3-4 yards at a pop.
This team would go multi-rungs up the interesting scale with a dynamic RB (Which we lost in KW, but I realize he didn't want to timeshare here......and why would that have been a problem again?). Any chance the Seahawks would ever do another blockbuster trade with all those draft picks we have stashed away?

The Fleury hire kinda reminds me of the Grubb hire. Sort of an out of the box approach. Grubb not coaching in the NFL before, Fleury not being an OC. There both bright guys, sure they interviewed well. MM interviewed Janoko for the OC position, probably should have promoted him. That he went outside the organization with a guy that hadn't done it before was a mysteryMichael K. wrote: ↑Mon Oct 19, 2026 1:26 pmPretty sure this has been put to bed. Apparently there are teams already inquiring about Taylor's availability. I wish the Hawks were one of them. He's still only 27and the Dolts' season is over. We have a lot of draft capital to pull this off and hopefully we do it.XpertDBA wrote: ↑Mon Oct 19, 2026 1:36 pmI keep seeing random posts (and I'm sure I shouldn't be taking them seriously) about how the Seahawks should be doing everything they can to acquire Jonathan Taylor from the Colts. I say they should go all in, if they're really serious about repeating as champs. I think Ed Dodds used be a former part of our organization and would be a really valuable conduit for trade talks. Let's get Taylor here sooner than later.DavidGee24 wrote: ↑Mon Oct 19, 2026 8:20 pmApparently there are teams already inquiring about Taylor's availability. I wish the Hawks were one of them. JS isn't going to do that with Charbonnet and Price about to return to action unless one of them is in the trade. But i doubt he wants to get burned again with the prospect of Price going off for another team and Charb won't have much trade value coming off a major injury.

So JS wasn't interested in paying Walker $45 mil over three years now he's going to give up trade capital for a RB that's owed that much over two years. Call me dubious

Apples and oranges. Taylor can do what JS didn't think Walker could do, and if our backs aren't 100% he could do the trade although someone might beat him to it. Sorry, I do know that you thought you were the smartest one in the room there.Donn Beach wrote: ↑Tue Oct 20, 2026 12:24 amSo JS wasn't interested in paying Walker $45 mil over three years now he's going to give up trade capital for a RB that's owed that much over two years.
